The Midwest Comic Book Association
is the Premier Event coordinator for
Comic Book, Game, and Pop Culture Madness.
For 20 years the MCBA has been bringing key portions of the Creative,
Collectible and Entertainment Industries to various venues around the
Minneapolis & Saint Paul Metro area. With its first shows being held
at local VFW Posts and the Thunderbird Hotel, the MCBA has grown from
the humble beginnings of the one day spring show, MicroCon, to find its'
roster of venues expanded to include the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand,
which will host this year's FallCon.
Over the years the MCBA has enjoyed the opportunity to host some of the biggest talents in the Comic Book industry. This list of guests attending MCBA comic shows includes talents likes of Peter Bagge, Tim Bradstreet, Kurt Busiek, Zander Cannon, Dan Clowes, Colleen Doran, Tom Grummett, Dan Jurgens, Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, Patrick Gleason, Devin Grayson, Gene Ha, Stuart Immonen, Carmine Infantino, Tom Lyle, Doug Mahnke, Angel Medina, Tom Nguyen, Brandon Peterson, James O'Barr, Michael Oeming, Tom Richmond, Julius Schwartz, Curt Swan, Tim Truman, Mark Waid, Herb Trimpe, Michael Turner and Adam Hughes. This vast array of talent, hosted by the MCBA, would not have been possible without strong support from Vendors and Publishers.
Not being content to rest on the achievements years past, nothing you have seen will prepare you for the celebration coming at this years FallCon. Records will be broken, hearts will warmed and the MCBA will usher in a new level of what Comic Book Celebrations should be!
